Hey, I'm Rocio! think of the c as a th and you're good to go.

B.S./M.S. Computer Science @ Georgia Tech, minoring in Law, Science and Technology.

I'm very interested by AI systems, and even more interested in their governance, advocating for proper legislation and finding pathways to build responsibly. Advanced AI will be transformative and it is crucial that it benefits all.

what I'm up to

  • Co-directing AISI
  • Incoming Summer Fellow at IAPS
  • Interpretability research on VLAs in the PAIR Lab
  • Wrapped up: AI@Academics internal strategy initiative under Provost Raheem Beyah

I write about AI policy and safety on Substack.

If you're at Tech and want to get involved in AI safety or just talk policy, feel free to reach out.
